Stepping into New Fantasyland in Disney’s Magic Kingdom, you might notice a second castle and wonder to yourself, “Hmmm, I wonder who THAT castle belongs to?” Well, wonder no longer! This is the Beast’s castle from the beloved tale, Beauty and the Beast!
Nestled in the corner of Magic Kingdom’s New Fantasyland, (right between two lovely ladies – Arial and Belle) is Gaston’s Tavern which is a counter service snack stop that looks SO much like his tavern in Beauty and the Beast!
And now, we continue our tour of Magic Kingdom’s New Fantasyland! Next stop was Maurice’s cottage for Enchanted Tales with Belle!
During our last Walt Disney World trip in November, we knew we were going to miss the “soft opening” of New Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom by about a month and to my dismay we would have to enjoy the new construction from a afar. Well, if Disney World isn’t all about magic (and good timing), I don’t know what is!
We are deep into the planning process for our Disney Fairy Tale Wedding! Oh yeah, did I mention we’re getting married in Walt Disney World? Yep! Where else? This is the ULTIMATE planning experience! In June we are going to the World for a whirlwind trip to plan this thing officially! So…what must we do now? Plan for the planning session, of course!
Well, we didn’t doubt that our recent Walt Disney World vacation would be anything but magical, but this one turned out to be especially so when Mark popped the question!
